WhatsApp is an essential application in every smartphone nowadays. Be it for communicating with office colleagues or catching up with friends, WhatsApp plays an essential role in today’s era. We have even replaced WhatsApp as an instant mode of communication instead of official emails. We also see the groups being made on WhatsApp for all possible reasons, maybe formal, party planning, chatting amongst families and many endless reasons.
Now we may have encountered major inconvenience with WhatsApp when some of the messages we cannot find, or we may have accidentally deleted a few of them.
Today we discuss how to recover deleted WhatsApp messages. Well primarily there are two ways to recover WhatsApp messages Online:
How to Retrieve Whatsapp Messages:-
Backup your chat history regularly: When you install WhatsApp, you have given an option to have a continuous backup of your chats on a local device or google drive (for android) and iCloud (of iOS). Also, even if you do not set the backup option at the time of configuring the WhatsApp, you can do it later by going into setting and chat option in WhatsApp. You get an option to select backup interval as Daily, Weekly or Monthly. Also, you get an option to select the content you want to backup, be it only chat or chat along with media. If you have less storage space on the device or on the cloud, you can select only chats to backup.
Once you have taken the backup, you can always recover Whatsapp Messages Online by going into WhatsApp application. Hence the chat will recover, and you will get your deleted WhatsApp messages back.

Recover your chat if no backup is set: If you have not selected any backup mode, WhatsApp will never backup any message for you, ever. However, sometimes, Whatsapp will store some messages as cache on the device itself. There are very less, but chances that you can recover deleted Whatsapp messages using this option.
Also, this option is only applicable for Andriod devices. All you need to do is download a file manager application (if not already available in your device), navigate to SDCard/WhatsApp/Databases using the file manager.
If you do not find anything in this location, try searching the same in internal storage/Whatsapp/Databases or MainStorage/WhatsApp/Databases. Rename the backup file you think may have data or chat messages to msgstore.db.crypt12.
Uninstall WhatsApp and install it again. Select restore what prompted and hopefully you will be able to recover Whatsapp Messages Online.
